Eyad Abou Kasem is a documentary photographer and visual artist. Born in 1986 in Damascus, Syria, his work explores themes of displacement, identity, and the impacts of conflict on individuals and communities. Traveling by sea from Turkey to Greece and making his way to Germany, Kasem's own experiences deeply inform his photographic practice.His work, characterized by a personal and immersive approach, has gained recognition by highlighting the resilience and suffering of refugees. Kasem's exhibitions across Europe and the poignant narratives captured in his photographs contribute to a broader understanding of human displacement.
