Profile
Kevin Puelles Cárdenas is a documentary photographer and activist based in Peru. He has been recording his country’s popular process since December 2022. His practice centres on “Corazón del Pueblo” (Heart of the People), a concept that connects social protest with Andean religious festivities as inseparable forms of political resistance.
Kevin is the founder of Fotos DeLucha, a self-managed initiative that provides photographic accompaniment to victims, social movements, and bereaved families to ensure their voices are heard. Through street exhibitions, photobooks, and free workshops, he uses photography as a pedagogical tool for memory and social justice, bridging the gap between intimate spirituality and collective indignation.
