IMPACT Award

With the Impact Award, we honour groundbreaking artists and cultural practitioners whose work inspires positive social change and engages with their local communities. These role models exemplify transformative power of culture, within their contexts and beyond.

The Impact Award is presented biannually to artists whose groundbreaking quality of work has made widely positive contribution to their society. Recipients are selected based on a nomination process and receive a grant during an official ceremony at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam, celebrating their consistent dedication and engagement with urgent global issues.

IMPACT Awardees

Representing a variety of fields, from architecture, poetry and philosophy to visual and performance art, these individuals dedicate their work to addressing political and environmental issues, the nature of identity and human rights in forms that engage and empower their own communities.

2026 Impact Award Jury

The 2026 Impact Award Jury is an independent body, comprised of three international and highly inspiring individuals. The Jury members come from a diverse range of backgrounds, disciplines, and localities, bringing a wealth of experience and unique perspectives.

Beyond selecting the awardee, the Jury helps shape the research process and its public activation during Awards Week, contributing to ongoing conversations around impact, inheritance, and legacy.
