Artist Emergency Fund —

The Prince Claus Fund is proud to announce that we received €1.5 million contribution from the National Postcode Lottery to establish the Artist Emergency Fund.

Seeing Like a Fund —

In collaboration with Boekman Foundation, we presented “Internationalisation(s)”: a “Seeing Like a Fund” event that took place on 3 October between at Boekmanstichting in Amsterdam.

The Urgency of Cultural Development Aid Amid Global Cuts

In a time of rising global challenges, the Prince Claus Fund and Cultural Emergency Response call for urgent, decisive action. This is not just about funding—it’s about safeguarding humanity’s shared future. 

Reimagining Future African Cities —

On 14 October 2023, we joined forces with Rotterdam-based cultural centre Het Nieuwe Instituut and presented the panel discussion “Reimagining Future African Cities – Beyond Prescribed Futures”, featuring Cycle 2 of Building Beyond.

On Crisis and Representation —

On Crisis and Representation featured the cohort of Cycle 1 of the Fellows Award: Moving Narratives and invited us to reflect on the prevailing structures of contemporary crises and their critical representations.

Seeing Like a Fund —

In collaboration with Kunstinstituut Melly, we hosted "Seeing Like a Fund": an interactive event with artists, researchers, members of the Prince Claus Fund team, and other funding organisations. 

ED Certification

The Prince Claus Fund has received its Equivalency Determination (ED) from NGOsource, confirming that we are equivalent to a U.S. public charity. U.S.-based foundations can confidently support our work, knowing that we meet the requirements for tax-deductible giving under U.S. law.
