Profile

Ramón Lineros Picón is a visual artist, artist-researcher, and curator based in Colombia. His practice brings together participatory art, artistic research, and popular education, taking shape in community-based labs, residencies, exhibitions, publications, gatherings, and collective actions. He works with rural and urban communities, especially children, teenagers, and youth, connecting memory, territory, and environmental care.

Ramón lives and works in Aguachica, in the department of Cesar, and holds an MA in Visual Arts from the National University of Colombia in Bogotá, awarded in 2019. Since 2020 he has co-led and directed PaEntro Espacio, a space dedicated to artistic research, creation, and cultural mediation across southern Cesar, the Magdalena Medio, and Colombia's Catatumbo region.
