Mariam Irene Santamaría Hernández is a performing artist from El Salvador. With a background in theatre and acting, she has worked with theatre companies like La Cachada Teatro and Teatro al Viento. She has also directed two audiovisual projects Unmasking Our Stories and a Patria que no existe. Besides this, Mariam has also hosted self-care workshops for women in the informal sector and expressive game workshops for abandoned children. Working in the roles of actor, director, producer, workshop facilitator and more, she seeks to build connections and unify artistic workers and professionals in El Salvador.
