New Supervisory Board Members

We are excited to announce two new Supervisory Board members - Hendrikje Crebolder and Joke Brandt who are joining the Fund as of 2025.

Hendrikje Crebolder is a cultural leader and former lawyer, the first female board member of the Rijksmuseum, where she significantly expanded its international reach and spearheaded initiatives like "Women of the Rijksmuseum". She currently serves on several boards, including TEFAF's Global Advisory Board, the Supervisory Board of Vlisco, and the international boards of Manifesta and Eye Museum.

Yoka Brandt was the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Nations, with a distinguished career spanning roles as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Executive Director at UNICEF. She has also served as ambassador to Uganda and Eritrea and holds a degree in Geography from Utrecht University and the Development Economics degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

The current Prince Claus Fund Supervisory Board consists of Chair Ila Kasem, the treasurer Mohamed Bouker, and members Clarice M.D. Gargard, Hendrikje Crebolder, Yoka Brandt. The Supervisory Board focuses on strategically essential topics, key policy issues, and performance agreements, complementing the Executive Director through their expertise, knowledge and experience.
