The 12 Moving Narratives Cycle 1 Awardees hail from 12 different countries and work across a wide range of disciplines, such as (fiction) writing, curatorial practices, performance art, visual arts, film, sound art, and archival research.

The cohort is guided by four mentors, each an expert in their field, coming together in a year-long interdisciplinary programme with an aim to nurture critical methodologies and artistic strategies focused on re-examining histories and cultivating emancipatory imaginations.
