Profile

Mariano Pozzi is an image and sound designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mariano’s practice engages with social issues, including topics as identity, memory, diversity, children rights and migrant rights. Mariano’s work takes scenes and themes from the past and present to rethink both in terms of human rights for a more equalitarian future.He has worked as a director, screenwriter and producer on various production companies and on several TV shows, web series, movies, and drama plays. Some works of his include the digital series “Migrant Stories” (2020) about migrants in Buenos Aires, “Kid’s Stuff” (2022) about children rights and “Missing” (2023), about kidnaped (and still missing) children during the last dictatorship in Argentina in the late 70’s. Mariano is also a project developer and board member of the Human Rights Film Festival of Buenos Aires (FICDH) and the Environmental Film Festival of Buenos Aires (FINCA).
