Profile

Alf Bojórquez is a writer and musician based in Mexico. For the last fifteen years, Alf has worked in the fields of narrative, fiction, radio and sound art, political philosophy, and radical pedagogies in collaboration with different art/publishing collectives and grassroots organizations. Her main focus is how art can make us desire and shape a radical future. Alf published the novel “Pepitas de Calabaza” and “No existe dique capaz de contener al océano furioso. Potencia, alegría, anarquismo”, a book that is coming out this year. Her last radio drama, Sopita Amarilla, was commissioned by Ximena Garrido Lecca for its broadcast at Portikus Gallery, in Frankfurt. In 2023, Alf and musician Stefan Christoff were awarded the Art and Research Creation Grant of the Canada Council of Arts.
