Victoria Yam is an interdisciplinary artist based in Cambodia. Her work explores identity, social justice, and empowerment by integrating cultural traditions into contemporary media. Victoria’s practice merges art and activism, advocating for marginalized voices and social change.
Vicotria has led electronic music workshops in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, creating opportunities for underrepresented communities in Southeast Asia. As the 2024 International Winner of the Oram Awards, Victoria’s innovative work in sound and technology has gained global recognition, with performances at King’s Place in London, the AWID Forum 2024 in Bangkok, and in Berlin. She is also a core member of Wayang Women, a collective reimagining Southeast Asian shadow puppetry.
