Announcement

As part of our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning efforts, we conduct annual impact reports on our Seed and Fellows Awards to better understand their impact on each cycle of Awardees and identify areas for improvement. Below you can find out all about our reporting on the 2023 Seed Award!

The Seed Award recognises 100 emerging talents and offers support to creative work that engages with urgent socio-political issues within their local context. Recipients receive €5.000 to freely invest in their practice, alongside global recognition, connections, and opportunities.

In August 2024, a year after receiving the 2023 Seed Award, the recipients were invited to share brief reports on their progress. We were happy to see that 92 Awardees offered us different windows into the transformative power of the Seed Awards.

Dive into the 2023 Seed Award impact report

These 92 narratives, submitted by Awardees from 61 countries across the Americas, Africa, and Asia, highlight the impact of the Awards through themes of growth, reach, connections, and societal engagement. This report explores how the 2023 Seed Award has fostered professional development, collaboration, societal impact, and dialogue on issues like gender and climate. It also reflects on the challenges faced and feedback provided by the Awardees.
