Profile

Mbé (a Yoruba word that means “to be and exist”), is the moniker of Luan Correia: a researcher, producer, and sound engineer based in Brasil. Mbé started his career in music at the Audio Rebel studio, where he worked for 7 years as a sound engineer. In 2021, he released his first work, “ROCINHA”, an album that had great repercussions in the press and was featured on Best Albums of the Year lists, such as the Paulista Association of Art Critics list. Since then, Mbé has been producing sound installations, such as “Poesia de Criolo”, which was shown at Niterói Contemporary Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro, alongside soundtracks for short and feature films, contemporary ballet, and advertising.
