Soft Circuit Babe is an artist and sound researcher based in Mexico. Her work centres on the collaboration between handmade analogue instruments and sound devices, collective sound experimentation, the study of pre-colonial American technologies, and audio programming. Her practice seeks to uncover the hidden logic of machines, merging traditional techniques with unconventional materials.
Soft Circuit Babe, as both artist and educator, has participated in festivals such as Mutek Mx (2022) and Mexsynthco (2023). In 2023, she took part in an artist residency at Diablo Rosso gallery in Panama City, where she deepened her exploration of sonic encounters.
