Profile

Ranwa Abughoush is a Palestinian architect, cook, and researcher based in Jordan. Her practice explores culturally, ecologically, and politically engaged questions, and pours into spaces, exhibitions, residencies, publications, and tables. Through the lens of food, she searches for possibilities to demystify, commune, and learn with her land.

Working from Amman, Abughoush seeks to nurture collective, imaginative, critical, and liberated knowledges and narratives, countering the web of extractive systems that prevents this emancipation. She has taken part in several residencies, among them the Fabrakat Food Design Program by Namliyyeh Studio in 2022, UNIDEE Ways of Becoming: Cracking Concrete by Citadellearte in 2024, and, in 2025, The Food & Art AltMA by The Gramounce and Roots: Biopower & Resistance by the Gramounce and Sufra Archive.
