Rana Tawil is a designer and writer based in Lebanon. Her work consistently explores the intersection of the Arabic language, design, and history. She calls for glory to the martyrs, healing to the wounded, freedom to the prisoners, and victory to the people of Palestine and their valiant resistance.
Rana has worked on seminal publications such as Journal Safar, Al Hayya Magazine, and Palestine: Rehumani-zine the World, taking on various roles including art director, copywriter, translator, editorial board member, and managing editor. Since 2020, she has been developing a personal project titled Ibda’ Magazine, a digital platform that explores the counter-history of sexuality in the SWANA region as accessibly as possible.
