Omar Ebrahim Ezzeddin Al Akabani is a Syrian oud player based in Lebanon. Specializing in the oud, Omar studied at the Higher Institute of Music in Syria from 2014 to 2016 and continued his education at the Lebanese National Conservatory from 2019 to 2023. His work is characterized by the creation of a modern performance identity for the oud, blending traditional sounds with contemporary styles.

Throughout his career, Omar has founded several musical groups, contributing significantly to the evolution of oud music. His notable formations include HAJEZ BAND, which performed at the Step to Agartha musical festival in Syria in 2016; HISAR BAND, which debuted at the Suwayda Alternative and Underground Festival in 2017; and NICOTINE ACOUSTIC ENSEMBLE, which played at the Mishkal Festival in Lebanon in 2019.
