Parsa Ansari is a filmmaker working across documentary and hybrid storytelling based in Iran. His work explores personal narratives, collective memory, and hidden human experiences.
His short documentary "The Villain" received multiple national awards, screened at the Oscar-qualifying Tehran International Short Film Festival, and was named Best Short Film of the Year by FIDAN Magazine.
Ansari is an alumnus of IDFAcademy and IDFA Project Space. His latest short film, "Butcher’s Canvas", currently in post-production, has been supported by the CNC, while his feature documentary "Shooting Stars", currently in pre-production, has received support from the Sundance Institute Documentary Fund.
