Megborna is an interdisciplinary artist, musician, and cultural practitioner based in Ghana. His work is deeply rooted in Anlo-Ewe traditions and centres on Afro-Spiritual Groove, cultural preservation, and indigenous sound practices, often combining music, spoken word, and soundscapes. His practice spans music, sound installation, sculpture, and performance.
As founder of the ADEGBO FOUNDATION and the Hakpanya Collective, Megborna leads initiatives such as "The Shrine Studio" and "MEVA HOGBE Concerts", which serve as platforms for cultural education and youth engagement. His joint albums, including "Afa ne Afa" and "Vayina", celebrate African spirituality, resilience and environmental consciousness. His sound installations, such as "ECHOES OF PLAY" (2024), merge environmental soundscapes with Ewe heritage and contemporary art, fostering the preservation of African cultural histories. Megborna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in Sculpture and is currently pursuing a Master in Fine Art in Painting and Sculpture at KNUST.
