Lee Mokobe is a South African multimedia artist. They have a bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture and are the youngest TED Fellow, 6x TED Speaker, 3x writer/contributor and
Brave New Voices Champion in 2015. Mokobe is the founder of Vocal Revolutionaries, a nonprofit that teaches digital media and social justice to township youth, creating the world’s next
leaders and artists. Their work is focused on anthropological research and queer African stories.
