Profile

Dea López is an artist and researcher based in Mexico. Dea explores the intersection of art, community engagement, and feminist studies. Her practice is rooted in relational aesthetics, aiming to integrate art into everyday life and public spaces. Currently, she delves into the connections between art, food, territory, and collaborative practices, investigating how these elements can foster social change.

Dea has curated and researched projects with institutions such as Galerie Nordenhake, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Barcelona, Fundación FEMSA, and Museo Amparo, among others. Her work often addresses themes of cultural identity, environmental sustainability, and gender equity, advocating for inclusive spaces and dialogues through art.
