Ofem Ubi is a poet and artist delving into the intersection of poetry and visual art, based in Nigeria. Ofem's creative journey revolves around the exploration of memory and its manifestations beyond traditional literary forms. His significant project, "the last time I called", focuses on themes of grief, culminating in a pamphlet and an exhibition hosted at the Guest Artist Space Foundation in 2022.
This endeavor continued with an exhibition and film screening at the Fringe of Colour Film Festival in Edinburgh in 2023, marking a poignant extension of his artistic inquiry. A distinguished alum of the G.A.S. Foundation, Ofem has exhibited widely including at RELE Gallery, Alte Tankstelle Deutz in Cologne, INKWELL by Writerz&Scribez, and the National Arts in Health exhibition in Nigeria.
