Profile

Marco Fernando Guagnelli Gonzalez is a performance artist and educator from Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Marco has directed and participated in several performance art pieces in Mexico City between 2015 to 2020. He has also received grants from FONCA for his interdisciplinary work in 2017 and 2019. Through his practice, Marco focuses on how the use of the art becomes a tool for resilience and resistance for youth and populations deprived of their liberty.
