Alex Wang is an artist based in China (People’s Republic of). Her work explores the ambiguous and unstable relationships between people and objects within specific circumstances, grounded in direct, hands-on practice. From a female perspective, she uncovers visible traces and hidden connections in everyday life, elements that subtly linger, dissipate, and regenerate in the mind. Boundaries that once seemed clear gradually blur, giving rise to compelling questions and constructions shaped by chance through the use of symbolic forms.
Alex enrolled at the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. In 2022, she was granted direct admission to the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where she is currently studying in the Sculpture Department.
