Profile
Albert Petrosyan is a film director based in Armenia. Albert's work focuses on memory, trauma, and queerness, and they have an interest in stories about generational conflicts and exploring what other emerging filmmakers seek to address.
Albert began making films during their university years, creating works such as “Chateau Mauve”, which explores a teenager’s journey toward accepting their sexuality, “Creative Geography”, which addresses addiction, and “In/Out”, a reflection on internalised misogyny within the closeted gay community. In 2022, their script “Scrambled Eggs” received a grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
