Efemine is a director and producer based in Türkiye. They focus on exploring queerness to challenge linear narratives and foster collective storytelling. Driven by activism, Efemine’s artistic practice is rooted in and shaped by the values of collectivity and community building.
Efemine is an associate producer for the feature film "I’m Here, I’m Fine" (2023) and co-produced "Blue ID" (2022), which won the IDFA Audience Award. They are also the co-founder and director of Alt-Cut, a platform featuring informative, educational, and entertaining content, and raising awareness about art and culture through performances, panel recordings, and music videos. Efemine is additionally the co-founder of Planet Lubunya, a multidisciplinary platform connecting queer artists from Türkiye and Germany. Founded in 2020 as a digital event series, Planet Lubunya evolved into a theatre project in 2022.
