Profile
Tanlume Enyatseng is a journalist, cultural producer, and curator based in Botswana. He works at the intersection of art and community, with a focus on accessibility, innovation, and collaboration. By merging art with advocacy, he aims not only to reflect the world around us but to reimagine it.
As founder of the queer curatorial platform Banana Club, Tanlume reimagines art accessibility through unconventional spaces and immersive experiences beyond the white cube model. In 2022, he launched The Banana Club Artist Fund (BCAF), an annual residency supporting emerging artists with financial aid, mentorship, and curatorial guidance. His projects have been featured on platforms like WeTransfer, MTN Bushfire, and Nataal Media. He has contributed to art publications such as The British Journal of Photography, Photoworks UK, ArtThrob, and Art Africa. Most recently, he served as Photoworks UK’s 2023/2024 Writer in Residence and as a judge for The British Journal of Photography's Portrait of Humanity award.
