Profile

Sandra Khzam is an emerging visual artist and cultural practitioner based in the Syrian Arab Republic. She is passionate about storytelling and community healing. Motivated by a deep sense of responsibility towards her community and a personal desire for inner peace, Sandra strives to create safe spaces and explore humanitarian issues through her art.

Sandra's photography has been showcased internationally, including at Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, Italy. She was also featured in the award-winning documentary "My Memory is Full of Ghosts" by Anas Zawahri. Sandra is the founder of Harmony Clubs, a peace-building initiative in Homs that brings people of all backgrounds together through book clubs, English language meetups, cinema gatherings, and volunteer activities.
