Rabiul Khan is an artist based in Santiniketan, India. Born and raised in Dangal Para, Adampur, Birbhum, Rabiul is a first-generation university graduate from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University. His practice is deeply rooted in his local surroundings, focusing on the creation of sites and interactive gatherings aimed at sparking dialogue and questioning. Rabiul's work addresses themes of locality, community, and the transformative potential of art in society.
Rabiul is currently involved in the development of GABAA, a collaborative initiative in Santiniketan, dedicated to research-based art activities and community engagement. This space aims to explore innovative methodologies that integrate art into everyday life and foster archival practices.
