Profile
Promiti Hossain is an artist from Bangladesh with a background of mixed nationalities and religious descent. In 2016, she graduated from Kalabhavana, Visva-Bharati University’s Fine Arts Department in Santiniketan, India, and continued her artistic pursuits in Dhaka. Promiti participated in a group exhibition of the twelve shortlisted young artists for Samdani Art Award in “Seismic Movement” at Dhaka Art Summit 2020 where she received the jury’s special mention for her collaborative art project “Personal and Social”.
