Daiara Tukano is a visual artist from Brazil, independent communicator, indigenous rights activist, and human rights researcher. She graduated from the University of Brasília with a degree in Fine Arts (2013) and a Master's degree in Human Rights (2018). Belonging to the Yepá Mahsã people (known as Tukano), her artistic work is based on research on their traditions and spirituality whose culture she aims to keep alive and in dialogue with the contemporary world. Daiara’s work has been exhibited at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, the 34th Bienal de São Paulo, the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo, and the Pinacoteca de São Paulo.
