Profile
Celia Bougdal is an architect and photographer from Algeria. Photography entered her life as a therapeutic practice, which is visibly reflected in the way she engages with human intimacy and emotions as part of her artistic research. Bougdal is a member of the Collective 220, a group that aims to articulate different perspectives of today’s Algeria through photography. Her work has been featured at the collective exhibitions of the Fotolimo Festival ( Spain, 2021), Mostra Viva Del Mediterrani Festival (Spain, 2021) and Rhymes from Utolf Realms (Switzerland, 2022).
