Yevseviia Ziakina is an interdisciplinary artist based in Ukraine. Her practice currently centres on writing texts, developing curatorial projects, and creating performances with puppets. She works across several forms rather than settling into a single medium, moving between text, curation, and live performance. Less often, she practises playback theatre and authentic movement, and she also makes animations and embroidery.
Ziakina is from Kharkiv, where she is a co-founder, together with wild grapes, of the independent art centre Contemporary Art Platform. Alongside the centre, her work continues to combine writing, curating, and performance with handmade forms such as embroidery and animation, while texts, curatorial projects, and puppet performances remain her main focus.
