Soni is a painter based in India. His work includes photography, installations, site-specific public art projects, paintings, and new media. Soni’s works are a reflection of the contemporary socio-political landscape in India.
His father and uncle are both miniature artists from Udaipur, and Soni is a second-generation artist working as a multidisciplinary practitioner. He has participated in over 35 group exhibitions, workshops, fellowships, and residencies. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts at Kala Bhavan, Visva-Bharati University, with a specialisation in painting.
