Sana Chamakh is a visual artist from Tunis, Tunisia whose artistic practice focuses on the themes of gender equality, sexual and queer expression. She’s a graduate from the School of Fine Arts, Tunisia after attending ESMOD International University, Paris. In 2020 her work was exhibited in a collective show titled ‘De toutes pièces’ at Atelier Y. Interested in the social and anatomical view of the human body, she uses fabrics as her primary medium, often combining it with painting, and collage along with fashion-related techniques such as embroidery, stitching and fabric manipulations.
