Rosie Olang’ Odhiambo is a writer, independent artist, curator, and bookmaker based in Kenya. Rosie's facilitates workshops and creates zines and artist’s books as formats to play across various disciplines engaging with anticolonial, queer, feminist, and Black radical traditions. Recent research and exhibition projects include "Bisi’s Chorus" with i continue to continue collective, "in transit under another sky", co-curated with E.N. Mirembe (2023 - ongoing) ,and "Amplitudes of Dawn" co-curated with Down River Road and friends (2022-2023).
Rosie has also worked in research, communications, writing and project management roles with arts and culture organizations in East Africa and the United States. She has previously served as the Head of programs at the Nairobi Contemporary Art Institute, as well co-founded Magic Door, an experimental imprint in Nairobi.
