OLDY BLAQ is an artist based in Ghana. He is the founder of OLDY BLAQ, a sustainable fashion brand. He is known for his minimalist, deconstructive anti-fashion, creating zero-waste pieces from discarded materials. OLDY BLAQ also employs text, audio, and visuals to highlight the thought processes that spark his creations or emerge from them. Driven by a vision of a more harmonious world and guided by his growing knowledge of global ecosystems, he aims to revolutionise the fashion industry through circular design and upcycling cultural influences.
OLDY BLAQ’s work has been showcased at the Obroni Wawu October Fashion Show, the largest sustainable fashion show in Ghana, and he has received honourable mentions at CreateCOP29.
