Naw Nan Noan Hom is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker based in Myanmar. Her practice spans painting, installation, photography, performance, and video art. Often drawing from her personal experiences and the lives of those around her, Naw Nan explores themes such as women’s rights, human emotions, and environmental concerns. She is passionate about using diverse mediums to tell stories and foster connection within her community.
Since 2022, Naw Nan Noan Hom has been studying at Yangon Film School, where she has directed four short films and edited four others. In 2023, she curated the art exhibition ‘We Live in a Society Where’.
