Nanzza is an emerging dancer and choreographer based in Burundi. In his choreographic practice, he weaves together social realities, bodily tensions, and buried memories from regions marked by conflict and displacement. Through his creations, he explores power dynamics, resilience, identity, and the body’s capacity to resist.
Nanzza is the co-founder of Afroorama, a platform dedicated to the professionalisation of artists and the promotion of intercultural dialogue.
