Lyndah Katusiime is an architect based in Uganda. Lyndah is driven by a profound interest in reshaping the future of human habitats. Specialising in modular, temporary, and bio-architecture, she is on a mission to redefine traditional notions of the built environment through innovative design and sustainable practices. Her work envisions a future where human habitats exist in harmony with nature, fostering a symbiotic relationship between people and their surroundings.
As an advocate for sustainable living, she is deeply involved in projects that create resilient, adaptable spaces capable of evolving alongside the needs of their occupants. In her recent project “The Living Pavilion” for KLA ART 2024, Lyndah explored the use of natural materials such as timber, grass, dung, and earth to craft environmentally sustainable structures.
