Profile

Khotso Sibanda is a writer and documentary film director based in Zimbabwe. Khotso is tirelessly devoted to delivering creative and intriguing African stories. She holds an Honours degree in Film and Theatre Studies with twenty-five distinctions, including distinctions in Documentary and Scriptwriting. Khotso is in the Top 10 fellows of the 2020 African Writers' Trust Publishing Fellowship, and she was selected for the 2021/2022 British Council New Narratives Artist Commission. She is debuting her maternal affirmations book, “Oxygen Mask First”, in 2023.
