Profile

Gusti Enda is an artist-curator and cultural worker based in Indonesia. Gusti's practice explores the intersection between art and socio-cultural contexts through collaboration, participation, and experimental engagement with archives, transforming oral histories and complex ideas into accessible visual narratives using materials from the surrounding environment.

Working across various media, he challenges dominant narratives by creating shared public experiences. His work responds to climate and ecological crises and seeks to redefine collective consciousness through artistic practice. Gusti is also a co-founder of the Susur Galur Collective, a cross-disciplinary initiative from West Kalimantan (Borneo) focused on preservation, cultural studies, art programmes & projects, and the reproduction of local knowledge.
