Edom Wessenyeleh is a consultant, curator, and multi-hyphenate creative based in Ethiopia. Her last name, ወሰንየለህ, translates to “borderless” in Amharic, aptly capturing the way she moves through the world. Living in Ethiopia has shaped how she designs and delivers programs, activates spaces, and documents beauty in everyday moments.
Edom works with video art to archive and share stories at the nexus of city redevelopment, gender, culture, and identity. Currently developing her first film, she seeks to expand her practice through interdisciplinary, intergenerational projects that prioritize community resilience and sustainability. She holds an MSc in Epidemiology and a BA in Anthropology.
