Abdoulaye Sow is a visual artist based in Senegal. His work is deeply rooted in the teachings of nature, the wisdom of his ancestors, and the transformative power of the environment. His recent international collaborations, such as United Artists for Climate, reflect a commitment to environmental advocacy, resilience, and the deep-rooted knowledge of indigenous cultures.
Abdoulaye is a graduate of the National School of Fine Arts in Dakar. His art has been showcased at international venues, including the OFF Program of the 15th Dakar Biennale of Contemporary African Art (Dak’Art OFF) and the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Transition of Senegal. Working between Senegal and Morocco, he continues to develop a practice grounded in ancestral knowledge and ecological care.
