Studio 8 is a Jordanian non-for-profit company active in the field of performing arts. It was founded in 2014 by a group of young artists aiming to share the joy of dance, while reflecting the diverse communities it serves, creating space for a wide range of different voices to be heard.

In 2019, Studio 8 launched an independent festival that draws works across many fields of performance and visual arts, including those with backgrounds in dance, circus, theater, music, film, spatial practice/scenography, and installative arts. Studio 8 and its festival also engage in placemaking practices on a community scale, connecting Jordan’s performing arts scene to regional and international networks to develop an ecosystem of support and collaborations. For the past 9 years, they has collaborated with more than 600 people of 43 nationalities in creating 10 original dance productions, giving more than 60 performances, and organizing more than 160 classes and workshops.
