Deborah Anzinger is a multidisciplinary artist based in Jamaica. Deborah creates painting, sculpture, video, and sound to "interrogate and reconfigure aesthetic syntax that relates us to land and gendered and raced bodies". Her works have been featured in several exhibitions, galleries, and museums, including the Pérez Art Museum in Miami and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia. 

Deborah is the founder of New Local Space (NLS) in Kingston, Jamaica, an artist-run initiative with a mission to facilitate thriving professions for visual artists working in experimental practices committed to advancing more equitable cultures and connecting such artists with the global contemporary art community. NLS does this through structured professional support via artist residencies, fellowship programmes, exhibitions, studio space, a podcast, and research.
