Xu Yihan is an artist and writer based in China (People's Republic of). Working across writing, clay modeling, painting, and participatory social art, she is the initiator of "Wind Community" and launched the "Mother’s Choice" writing project and the "Rag God Workshop", which is dedicated to building a community of care and women’s narratives.
Recent exhibitions include “Shanghai Picnic” at the 2nd ROCKBUND Architecture Festival, Shanghai ROCKBUND Art Museum, Shanghai, in 2025, and ‘The Coming Community’ New Youth Experimental Art Biennale at the Ceramic Art Avenue Art Gallery, Jingdezhen, in 2024. She lives and works in China, where these projects and workshops continue to bring together care work and women’s storytelling.
