Profile

Prin Rodriguez is a Peruvian photographer whose work is linked to representing identity and family legacy, seeking experimental and sensory narratives. From her artistic practice, she seeks to explore individual memory and its link with collective memory to bring us closer to other ways of sharing and preserving knowledge. Rodriguez's work often contains elements of both fact and fantasywhether through constructed narratives inspired by reality, or through stylistic choices that alter the viewers perception of whats happening in an image. Rodriguez is the co-founder of the Pariacaca collective, named after one of the oldest divinities in Peru, a figure who predates Perus colonisation. The collective aims to transform the way we represent ourselves and to transcend any self-imposed border and dynamise the worlds to create visual universes. Rodriguez has been featured in many exhibitions and photography magazines worldwide.
