Natalie lama is a visual artist and photographer based in Jordan. She works with experimental and documentary photography to explore themes of identity, resilience, and untold stories, blending reality with imagination to provoke dialogue. Through her images, she challenges societal norms and aims to preserve cultural narratives.
She has participated in exhibitions and created projects that reflect on social and political issues in the Arab world, such as sexuality, economic hardship, and political resistance. Her most recent series, “City in Trance”, is a documentary project capturing the resilience of people in Jordan facing economic struggles at night.
