Profile

Mohammed Almughanni is a director, writer and cinematographer born and based in Palestine. He has received a master’s degree in film directing from the Lodz Polish National Film School. Previously he has screened his films and won awards at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, Prague (2020) and Festival Ciné Palestine, Paris (2020). Mohammed’s work deals with racial justice, specifically with the socio-political life of people who are living in the shadow of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. He is engaged in raising awareness of the collateral issues faced by innocent civilians due to the conflict such as national identity and unregistered children.
